1. Andy Ducat(ENG) 1942
Andy Ducat died on the pitch, while batting during a club match at Lord’s in jully 1942. Ducat who played only one test for England, suffered a heart attack during batting.
2. Abdul Aziz (PAK) 1958
Abdul Aziz died during the final match of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in 1958-59. The 17 years old batsman was facing an off-spinner bowl, ball rose sharply and hit his chest. He collapsed and was declared dead at the hospital.
3. Wilf Slack (ENG) 1989
Wilf Slack collapsed and died atthe age of 34, while batting in Banjul in January 1989.
4. Ian Folley (ENG) 1993
Ian Folley died in a freak accident while batting in a domestic match 1993. He was hit below the eye while batting for Derbyshire against Workington. He suffered a heart attack and was declared dead in hospital.
5. Raman Lamba (IND) 1998
Raman Lamba died after hitting a ball during fielding 1n Dhaka 1998. The ball hit him on the head, while standing at short-leg without wearing helmet. He went into a coma 3 days after the incident and then died in hospital.
6. Waseem Raja (PAK) 2006
Waseem Raja died with his boots on, playing in a 50 overs match at Surrey 2006. During match pakistan batsman began complaining of uneasiness. Soon he collapsed on the field, succumbing to a massive heart attack, leaving everyone shocked.
7. Richard Beaumont (ENG) 2012
Richard Beaumont collapsed on the pitch, suffering a suspected heart attack in 2012 and was announced dead shortly after his arrival in hospital.
8. Zulfiqar Bhatti (PAK) 2013
Zulfiqar Bhatti during a domestic match in 2013,after being hit a bouncer on his chest while batting, he collapsed on the ground and was rushed to hospital immediately, but dead on arrival at hospital.
9. Darryn Randall (SAF) 2013
Darryn Randall died when a ball hit on the head in a domestic match in 2013. The ball was hit on his head while attempting a pullshot.
10. Phill Hughes (AUS) 2014
Phill Hughes died at the St. Vincent’s hospital on 27 Nov. 2014. He succumbed to his injuries after battling for life for two days after being hit a bouncer on his head. He was struck on the head with a short pitched delivery from Pacer Sean Abbott.
